The Truth Waits by Susanna Beard - Blog Tour

Anna has everything worked out - a successful company, all the comforts she needs and no ties. But when she stumbles across the body of a young girl on a deserted beach in Lithuania, everything changes.

Anna is compelled to uncover the story behind the tragedy, despite concern from her partner, Will. Everything points towards sex trafficking, but as she searches, her own deepest secrets start to surface.

When Will disappears without a trace, Anna is pulled further into the murky world of organised crime. Time is running out for them all, and there's a killer out there who will stop at nothing.

About The Author

Susanna is fascinated by human relationships. She can be found people-watching wherever she goes, finding material for her writing. Despite the writer's life, she has an adventurous streak and has swum with whale sharks in Australia, fallen down a crevasse in the French Alps and walked through the sewers of Brighton - not in that order.
Her passions include animals, particularly her dogs, walking the countryside and tennis, which clears her brain of pretty much everything.
Susanna's debut novel, Dare to Remember, was published by Legend Press in February 2017.
She aims to keep writing, and never get old.

My Review

Anna is tormented by what happened to the girl who's body she found washed up on a beach in Lithuania. After she returns home she can't let go of it, and is determined to find out what happened to her.
I really liked Anna, she was an interesting personality who has basically given up on love, after her marriage failed. However when she meets Will, she sees something in him that changes her mind. I really enjoyed reading how there relationship developed. Susanna Beard has a way of writing interesting and endearing characters, so much that I really cared about what they go through.
I have never been to Lithuania but Susanna descriptions of the place made me feel like I could picture everything.
The Truth Waits is a read that once you pick up you wont be able to put down. Susanna Beard is an outstanding writer, creating emotional and heart pulling scenes. I wanted to know so badly what had happened to that poor young girl! If you are a fan of mystery's this book is for you.

Thank you to Legend Press and Lucy Chamberlain for a copy of this book to read and review and inviting me to take part on this tour.
